Though the 41-year old skipper achieved a string of fine results in 2023, his boat suffered two broken booms one after the other during the last two transatlantic races in 2024. Despite these incidents, Nicolas Lunven still managed to rack up some highly respectable results in order to qualify for the Vendée Globe.
