A recycling specialist, Louis Duc is using the mast from the boast sailed by François Gabart when he won the Vendée Globe. Duc dismasted during the Transat Jacques Vabre, with Marie Tabarly as his partner. The skipper had to approach Michel Desjoyeaux in order to obtain this mast. A good omen before setting off on his first Vendée Globe.
